    What a show,both Steve and Dave used Axe II.That Alien outfit and the guitar was insane. One of the Steve's presets read "Normal!" amp sims not used. Not sure if Dave used any amp sims,but to me it sounded like he was. Matt where you there?

    +1000!! When i first got my Axe, I plugged straight into our powered mixer, man was I disappointed... Than I got Carvin DSC(great inexpensive power amp btw.) and then VHT 2:50:2...Game over!

    Hmmm... :? i guess I have the cabs off,...like i said, it sounds pretty close through my 4x12. 020 patch has more gain to it, 019 i use it with volume slightly turned down for rhythm and blues stuff. I doesn't necessary mean that those are JM tones, but they do match the tone of Two-Rock...

    Carvin DCM or VHT 2/50/2.I've used them both, VHT little warmer IMO but DCM is right there.If money is the subject(or not) than DCM is right choice. I never got good sound out of QSC HPR speakers.
