I have used just about every reverb, delay, multi fx processor that has been out in the last 20 years and the axefx is pretty dang simple. Ever tried getting around on a Lexicon PCM81 or Eventide SE..Digitech DSP 256XL, GSP2101, Intellifex, Boss GT5, VG88...blah blah...the axe is worlds ahead...

Hmm...I have tried multiple times on my FC6 and everytime I reboot...the firmware still remains 1.6. Have you heard of any issues with updating? I am on a M1 mac..I wonder if that is causing an issue...but I just updated the FM3 with no problems...hmmm...

Never got the love for the Divided by 13 amps. What am I missing?

I have the real deal...master should be all the way up...there is no master on the amp....I do end up dropping low end as it is a "beefy" amp...it sure sits great in a mix though...I run FOH at my church and run the guitar players through it week to week and it is a joy!

Well...I would say likely my ability would be the biggest factor to start with. I cannot seem to get the mod, filter, breakup on delays to sit the same as my Timeline and what I hear on this pedal....the drive section seems to be the part I have the problem dialing in...it seems to be too far...

Great for hearing midrange info and actually masking of low mid frequency (if you have any). I used in mono along with genelec 8040's and the auratone was very useful.

I'd say this is the camp I fall into. I like some of the presets, they are definitely inspiring, but in my patch building "economy" it would be great to get everything I need from the individual block...for example, if I could have features inside the delay block that get me in the ballpark of...

The Strymon Grit and filter have been the hardest part for me to replicate the feel/sound of. I do love the sound of the axe delays, the only thing i wish I could get out of it is the "swampy" sounds of the delays in the strymon.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! It really is the dynamics that seem to get lost when I use a drive pedal. The punchiness of the amp seems to diminish and I find that dialing the mix of the pedal sim back (sometimes to 20%) seems to help (on fulldrive and suhr sim). I plugged in my...

I'm running a Vox at low gain...just barely broken up...simulating my BadCat BlackCat 30. I have the Drive parameter on the pedal completely off. The pedal is the FullDrive2 emulation...Ive owned a Fulldrive for 15 years and I can't seem to capture the vibe of that pedal...
