    I use Bome's MIDI Translator Classic so my sequencer can see a MIDI message as "space bar". I put a MIDI Solutions Event Processor just before I return to the computer to filter out everything but the start/stop message so as not to create a MIDI loop from the messages I'm sending out to the Axe

    Stop/Start mp3's on laptop using MFC101

    I also use Bomes MIDI Translator software. and it works flawlessly. It receives a midi controller message and the translator converts it to anything, in my case QWERTY space bar for advancing Sonar Playlist.

    Yes, it will accept MIDI Clock, but it will not transmit it.See page 144 of the manual. From 9.02 until 10.02 it would pass it through from the source on down the line, but not anymore. Yes, it is disappointing.

    I found this one TRS-2 FS 2 button footswitch with leds , It will run off the +5v the mfc sends. You could contact them, they would no doubt build you one with 4 switches

    Thanks for the response Chris. There is a midi filter in the VoiceLive and when set to Sysex the program change still happens. When set to filter Sysex+Program change then it stops, but essentially makes it unusalbe.

    I can't select the Axe-FX ASIO driver on Cakewalk Sonar (when using RME FF400)

    Hi, When you make preset changes this way, does the Mfc reflect the change since the midi message only goes t the Axe and not the MFC. When I change presets on the Axe, the MFC doesn't change.

    Thanks for your info Voes. That's what is a little confusing, if the MFC will read preset names, I would think it would read the preset change. But I guess it only reads it when the MFC initiates the change.
