V6 stock presets: My observations and solution

Ok. Here's the deal: I'm not impressed with the stock presets of V6. Maybe that is because I am a FRFR guy. Almost all of the time I play through my Adam A5x nearfield monitors. So I studied the presets trying to find an answer what is missing. Most of those presets sound dull and bassy...

Definition knob - Where are the adulation threads?

This knob is an amazing tool. From ultra mellow to direct in your face everything is in one parameter. So where are those 'my Axefx sounds too mushy' guys? And where are the 'my Axefx has no / too much pick noise' guys? All silenced by the awesomeness of one magic knob? Thats awesome...

new class A amp models default values

Hi folks, I have great success dialing in class A amp models (AC30, Matchless, DR Z...) with different advanced parameters: LF resonance = 0 HF resonance = 0 Please try these settings and then take part in the poll. I suggest to turn master to 9.41 and drive under 5 on these models. Feedback...

Tele into AC30 sim

This is a short clip with a 50s Telecaster into Top Boost sim into stock 2x12 brit. Firmware is V10. http://www.mediafire.com/file/zj1ntdcghza/Tele.AC30.wav I really enjoy playing simple chords this way. 8-) It sounds ridiculously realistic to my ears.

Bias adjustment thread

Hi folks, today I worked on a Twin Reverb patch. After some tweaking I found out that the default bias value on this amp sim is 0.350. This seemed too low to me so I pushed it to 0.480. That value sounds more real to my ears. Searched the web and found out that 480 volts are indeed a sweetspot...

my favourite Fat Soldano Patch

Hi, messed around with the soldano X99 rhytm channel and ended with some great results imho. I was able to play Over and Over by King's X. Turned guitar volume down for verse, half open for chorus and full for solo. :twisted: Enjoy! DieSchmalle

Req: Atomic FR impulse

I think it is only logical to make some IRs of the new Atomic FR Amp. These could be used as a second cab simulation behind everything else in the signal chain to do the Atomic mojo. At least worth a try- what do you guys think?
