Headphone/monitors for rich sound

You are not the only one. I play with headphones (not by choice) for at least 25 years now. U have tried almost everything. Right now using NEUMANN NDH20 and NDH30 depending what I play. I also use the cheap ADAM T7V and they sound fine.

How are you using FM3 in home studio recording setup.

FM3 SPDIFF -> my Apogee Element 46-> Logic Pro Most of the time I use Either MixIR3 or Two Notes WOS for CABS , Soundtoys for delays and FAS Reverb for Reverbs

I've Decided I Hate My Headphones

I have been using headphones since the introduction of the POD :) It was not by choice but just because I could not make loud noise in the house at any time day or night.(Handicapped son) I tried a lot of headphones and realized good sound is very subjective when you get high quality ones...

What is the Axe-Fx III's equivalent to the Axe-Fx II XL+'s front panel Bypass Switch? [Solved]

The new beta firmware works very well with my MC8 and Axe Fx 3. A lot of improvements. I even added switches on the first page to activate 6 different effect blocks and have prestes up and down.

I would go for the Apogee ensemble. Best move I have ever done. You get a high end interface for many many years. Ease of use, small footprint and if you play home take the Element 46 which has 2 headphones outputs.

Best purchase I have ever done. I had an Apogee Ensemble but the quartet do everything I need. The only thing I missed was the two Headphones out but I use my presonus HP4 for headphones.

Thanks. I am not a specialist of recording. I bought a Focusrite Liquid 56, plugged the stereo out of the Axe FX in inputs 3 and 4 and jammed with the MP# i imported in Logic 9. This is all I can do for now :lol:
