8lbs even too. No weight relief, just a magic lightweight Les Paul. The top is very, very thin nitro because I had a little accident involving super glue and the top about 6 months after I bought it new. My luthier / tech wet sanded the top and got most of the damage out, but it was an instant...

I thought their sound at the Marquis last night was great...I was at the back of the room. I saw them there in 2019 with their full rigs (Suhr PT100, Hedgehog, multiple 4x12 cabs) and I found it a lot more balanced last night, the vocals were clearer. I think the guitars could have been a little...

So an amp reset is just changing the amp block to something and changing it back to the original model? Tweak to taste? Does a system reset do that for all of them or does it reset all of your FC's, etc? Sorry for the dumb questions...I've had an Axe Standard, an AX8, but I've only had the AX3...

Very cool man, I appreciate all of the info. I honestly focus more on Chris Shifflet when I watch Foo guitar playing, but that is really neat. I've tried to approximate the tones over the years when covering them live.

Oh man. I loved these amps when they came out and bugged the hell out of Bruce Zinky one year at NAMM. I enjoyed seeing Dave Grohl run them with an AC30. I believe his tech convinced him to move to Mesa Road Kings for reliability.

I've been using 1 and 7...need to try 4. I've also toyed with a Stereo Hi Res with 1 and the one of the SM7 individual mic IR's. I ended up going back to 1 and 7 depending on the patch

Thank you so much. This helps...I play several different gigs with the same general setup in 1000-2500 person rooms and I'm trying to make things as simple as possible and global as possible for ease of use. Funny enough, I am using the Atomica too and have changed my patches to use your mixes.

I bought a brand new set of DT770 Pro's on eBay for $149 and they are fantastic...I really love these headphones...I use them for day to day listening and for tracking with the AxeFX

I'm getting a weird sputtering/fizzy background sound on all of my patches, even new ones I've created from the front panel...it sounds like I have single coils in all of my guitars...argh!

I had a '66 BF Super that I sold to help fund the AxeFX...and I regret it...I can't dial it in to save my life...I'm not a newbie to good tone or tweaking preamps, but I can't duplicate my BF Fender tones...I'm honestly frustrated beyond belief right now with my Standard

It says SPDIF In Connection: Combo and SPDIF Out Connection: Combo The specs for my Mac say that the audio input jack is a combination optical and line in jack and the headphone jack is combo optical out / headphone out

I just noticed that my Macbook white will accept SPDIF in via the audio in port and send SPDIF out via the headphone jack...does this mean I could avoid buying a recording interface all together for recording my AxeFX????

Andy Timmons patch request

FWIW, his rig on the Resolution album was not Mesas. It was his signature guitar into a Butler Tube Driver into a Fulltone Tube Tape Echo, one side going out to a Plexi and the other side going out to a 70's JMP head. I've got a patch that gets pretty close that I'm still refining...once I get...

started with power amp and cab, went to FRFR and am completely happy now...best tone I've had and that's saying something considering the amps I've owned

FCB1010 autoengage wah...won't automatically turn off

I've got External 1 setup to be CC 4 which is my left expression pedal on the FCB1010...the wah is set to Autoengage Medium, but when I stop moving the wah, it stays on...what could be causing this?

Ok, what am I doing wrong (going direct to the PA)

It's one of those cheapie EMS (or something) head style mixers...8 channel, xlr input (assuming that's a mic input in retrospect) and Hi Z 1/4" input on each channel... man...I feel like a dumba$$...I didn't think that one through When I've hooked it up before, it's been plugging it into a...
