REVISED - Cliff's Factory Preset Bank A - Axe-Fx II - Quantum 8.01

What I noticed (and maybe it's "Pure Imagination") is the levels on all 128 patches are pretty consistent and none of them were too hot.There's no red l.e.d.s here! Plus they really sound freakin' great ! Thanks Fractal Universe !

Scene Revert not working [NOT A BUG]

Axe II locking up after 16.1

After I installed 16.1 beta the Axe locks up and I have to reboot. It seems to happen when I'm scrolling through the grid. It has happened in other situations but mostly when I'm grid surfin'.

Poltergeist Pig Factory patch

The truth hurts.... but then teaches....V11 RULES!!

Looper Bug too

I also have the Looper bug. I can record a loop and it plays back but the waveform is totally blacked out. When I try to edit the loop(with start and end)Axe fx reboots.

Bad bug 1: after installing version 8 Axe Fx freezes every 20 minutes or so on preset 373.Could be other presets as well. Bad bug 2: delay hold will not shut off, when attempted, Axe Fx freezes. Delay set to mono.

Why so many bizzare presets? (I am a newbie)

Thanks Sebastian....ya know what really sucks though? I was once a a very big idiot and sold my ULTRA:( I ran into some financial difficulties and needed the dough. FORTUNATELY I just ordered a Standard and although I wont be able to do the "poltergeist pig" I'm as happy as a pig in S*&%!!!

Well it was intended for the Ground Control Pro but also worked for the Rocktron Midi Mate.I don't know what the MFC-101 requires for voltage or amperage but a Googlization is all it takes.

Not completly happy with 9.03

If this shit keeps goin' on, Cliff won't know WHAT to do. He will freeze like a deer in the headlights,the updates will STOP. I for one appreciate his dedication and hard work. If a new update means I gotta tweak a few settings... so be it. Before I had the AXE,I owned just about every other...

Well if the Axe Fx was bought used it COULD have been modified to supply power with an internal transformer. This is exactly what I did and it works great. (no wall wart for me! :D ).

I know what you mean. I've had the Ultra for 2 years or so.I had a QSC HPRI212 and it sounded killer but due to financial reasons I had to sell it. My "poormans rig" sounds prettyy f%$@# awsome though!! :lol:

I recently bought a Crate Powerblock and a homemade 1x12 guitar cab (150.00 for both :D ) and the clean amps sound killer with no cab sim but the hi gain stuff sounds BLAND unless I use the peq block.Is this because I'm maybe expecting a huge 4x12 sound from a 1x12 cab? If I use a cab sim with...

I haven't tried it with a switch,I was just suggesting it, it makes sence that the pedal would be a smoother transition. I might try adding another dual delay and figure out a way to use two different "frozen chords" and switch between them. This is what I love about the Ultra...pretty much...

I just use the amp level output then you don't need a volume block...potentially saving you some cpu juice.

Master output cc control?

Yes, I know about that but I want to be able to set the lowest level at say...75% and have the pedal bring it up to maybe 90%. I'm asking for more control over the existing parameter.

If I understand correctly,the function in the I/O menu that lets you set the default value of the external controllers to 0% or 100% determins whether or not a controlled modifier is on or off at start up. Is this correct? Or am I misunderstanding what this does? It does not seem to work on my...

Marshall/G System user now torn after hearing AXE

Dude,dump it all!! The effects alone KILL the G- system. The Ultra also just keeps gettin' better and better. I've never owned a piece of gear this long in my life (excluding guitars). You have a 14 day trial anyway.You can't lose.......Do It!!! :)

Only bypassing a block is not the answer. You have to delete it and replace it with a shunt. Even when a block is bypassed, it still uses cpu juice. ;)

When using a momentary controller connected straight...

I just tried it and it dosn't work. When you really think about it though how would it? You only have pedal one and pedal two to assign. The three wires involved (tip,ring and sleeve) would have to be assignable in the menu.

Fractional delays?

I think you can use the Flanger block if you turn the Depth all the way down there will be no modulation. Then you can adjust the delay below 1 ms(I think). You can also use the resonater to acheive that sort of filterd sound.

Reworked Octave Divider in 7.13........ Thanks Cliff!!!

Ultra not sending the same level signal from L/R??!

Yup me too. I thought it was my soundcard,then my cables,then my Tascam US428. I tested all of these and the issue seems to be the Ultra itself. I just turn the soundcard input a little lower on one side but I would like to hear what Cliff thinks.

Excellent point Cliff. I often do stuff I could only imagine with other processors. Today I used the crossover in to 2 different amps and put some delay on one of them,put an lfo on the "time" parameter of the quad chorus,2 reverbs in paralell and an eq after one of the reverbs. I remember...

I noticed if I turn on the tracking on the pitch block the two voices which I panned -50 and +50 become mono. If I turn off the tracking the stereo image is restored. Is this normal?

Does anybody know what I can achieve with the custom command string on the Rocktron All Access? The way understand it is I can assign 5 different commands to a preset to all "go off" at the same time but can't I just make another preset with those changes already implemented? Am I understanding...

WOW! Recabinet!!

I just gotta say I took the plunge and ordered the Recabinet impulses and am very impressed. I tried the demo and liked it alot but then I tried the full version and LOVE it!! I don't know how they're doing these impulses but they really sound killer. Try out the demo at least!! It's FREE...

I just counted the presets on Axechange!!

I was sittin' here in front of the old boob tube and was always wondering how many presets were on the Axechange website,so I counted them. I know it's not earth shattering news :o but what the hey..... the answer is 374 give or take a few. I say let's get a thousand by 2009!!! :) :)
