Axe-Fx II + Banjo - Danny Boy

Can the Axe-fx handle REAL surf reverb?!

Thanks Andrew for the comment. As someone said before, in fact this is not reverb but rhythmic delay, although the patch includes a little bit of room reverb to give it some 'air'. We were trying to replicate Hank Marvin's tone in the historic recording of the song. In this clip the delay is OK...

A couple of recordings using my Standard

Thanks Xavi, It's a very simple patch, nothing fancy: blackface sim, 2x12 black sim. The credit for the tone goes to that awesome vintage spring reverb simulation. However, I used a telecaster, which sounds great but it's not the perfect axe for orthodox surf sound. Thanks again for commenting!
