Bug? MFC selects a few random patches after power on

Axe-FX II, MFC Mk III, Connected via XA-2 FASLINK™ Adapter, Mission EP-1 pedal connected into Expression 1 (but if I unplug it, the behaviour does not change). Axe FX and MFC are on the latest firmware. When I boot up the MFC (regardless if I have it connected before or after booting up the...

    Playing live with scenes

Hi, I got my MFC yesterday and I am preparing to play live with it. I plan on using scenes with it, so I'll have e.g. scene 1 as Clean, and scene 5 as solo. So let's assume, I play a song. First the verse I play clean, scene 1. Then I start via MFC the Drive for the chorus. My solo comes, I...

    Description of Rolands Choruses

I always had the naive idea that a chorus is just an addition of a delayed signal with a variable delay time. I didn't know it can get as complex as this: http://www.uaudio.com/webzine/2009/sept ... ctors.html Wonder how an AxeFx version would sound? (hint, hint) :D

Has anybody made IR's of a Fender Deville?

I tried, but only got ugly garble. I guess the amplifier tubes affect the sweeps to much, and I have no access to a SS power amp. Has anyone with better abilities than me tried that before and would like to share the results?

7.16: CC message disables Extern 8

Sorry for the cryptic title. I have a patch (which I am trying to upload - but it happens in other patches with similar configuration as well) with a vol/pan block attached to extern8, which is the right pedal on my FCB1010. Everything works fine, until I then send CC21 which I have mapped to...

On the learning curve: What do you use the resonators for?

Hi, for many FX blocks I know when I need them, and for what. But the resonators somehow escape me. It seems like an answer to a question I don't understand. So when do you use resonators - and with what parameters?

    Frequency Shifter (not: Pitch Shifter)

I'd like to see a frequency shifter. It adds a fixed frequency like e.g. 0.1 Hz to all input frequencies. You can use it as a sort of chorus/phaser effect when used in small portions or get some crazy effects if you add bigger numbers like 700 Hz. Very strange stereo signals you can achieve...

    Need backing tracks?

Since a friend asked me, I've put some backing tracks of my songs on my web site. Only the two top ones are created with the AxeFx, the other one are from the prehistoric, ah, pre-Axe era. http://www.hhjh.de/backing.php If you like them or your result of playing with them, let me know (and...

    Reamping

Because yesterday I had a lot of trial and error, I just created a wiki article on how to do "Reamping". http://axefxwiki.guitarlogic.org/index. ... e=Reamping It would be nice if somebody could proof read it and maybe point out any errors. Thanks, Holger

See output level display when cursor is on level controls

I would like to see the actual output level (maybe displayed like the compressor attenuation display) whenever a level control has the focus. So let's say whenever you fiddle around with the level button on the amp, you see how much headroom on output 1 you still have. To show output 2 would...

Compressor should show time in ms, not numbers 1-10

I am used to compressors e.g. in VST show the attack and release times in milliseconds, not in numbers. I would like to see that in my favorite toy, the Axe-Fx as well. I know the information is in the Wiki, but it is not the same.
