New to AX8 and not having fun [SOLVED]

I use a small Mackie mixer 402VLZ4 (with onyx preamps) for headphones (Beyerdynamic DT 880 pros), 1/4" cables into the line in's, then headphone out. Sounds great with my AX8.

Reducing/Eliminating EMF

I had exactly the same problem. I shielded my pickup/output jack cavities and pickguards , it eliminated most of it.

I decided to go ahead and buy an XL+ in the sale as I didn't want to wait for a newer version that may or may not be announced. I'm sure that the XL+ will be more than enough for my needs for a long time anyway !

Decent monitors for bedroom use
