Port City OS2x12 + Matrix GT1000FX - My Thoughts

i have a port city 2x12 OS as well...but i mixed the speakers with a v30 and t75 (and a stereo input so i can have different volume mixes if needed/ wanted). i'm a high gain, extended range player and honestly have always used cab sims on as well...but have with every guitar cab i've used and...

MFC and Pedaltrain hardcase?

I literally just got my pedaltrain2 hard case and put it all together. The Mfc and two mission engineering expression pedals. With the cables (right angle jacks), just one of the pedals just slightly hangs over an edge, but nothing to worry about...it's very slight. It all fits in the case...

not attempting to hijack... but for those of you with the pedaltrains...are you using the included velcro that came with it, or getting something else to mount the mfc (and other objects)? i just ordered a pedaltrain 2 and have read both positive and negatives about the included velcro...

My new live/studio rig

a bit nonAxe2 specific, but how's the port city os 212 with the differing speakers? i was thinking about the same thing, but can't make up my mind if i wanted to mix the two (the same mix you have) or just get the standard 2 v30s.

ah...so you liked this unit huh? i looked at it as i run sonar, and thought it'd be a good thing, just wanted one more input...so i ordered a motu--hopefully i don't regret that. ;p but if it doesn't work out...i'll definitely just get this one! thanx for the info!

well...after a "bunch" of tries with the 828mk3, i gave in and rehooked up my tascam 1884...but after a couple tries of it failing too...FINALLY it went thru. ;p just a luck of the draw thing at the moment i guess. honestly, i have to say, this really shouldn't be an issue on the personal...

hey all, i'm wondering if anyone knows of any good subwoofer IRs out there (if any)? the reason i ask is for my "live" rig i run the axe to a ISP Vector SL cab (and a mesa 4x12) and the tone is very punchy and lowEnd beefy. (7 and 8 strings) i'd LOVE to get this same type of tone/ set up...

Axe PC

that would be great if AXE-PC could be "receptorized" -- would actually make my receptor useful (as it honestly just sits there since i got the thing with the promises of the vsts i use being ported but never have.) i definitely won't hold my breath--but one can dream, right?! ;)

;) great to hear some more synth style from the ultra in general! the axe isn't a full replacement for the roland vgs synth (*yet*) but it's getting there! i think you got some really nice tracking in your tune! ----------- and yeah! i'll have to make sure i have the EJ patch for sure...
