Aerosmith - Joe Perry - Walk This Way

I have an AX8, so unfortunately I can't load that preset. I am joining a newly forming Aerosmith tribute band, and I desperately need to get that "Walk This Way" sound. Any suggestions would be helpful. Amps? Cabs? So many knobs!

I did. They don't mention that the cables from the effects send / return needs to be ts. At least, I didn't find that info on the FX Loop block pages. I only have one EV pedal, and I use that for other things. I'm going to take an old Ernie Ball volume pedal, and use that as a master volume...

Noise when changing presets??

Just FYI, It seems that certain types of amps cause the same issue. I was going from a clean sound with chorus and delay, to a distorted sound with one of the Brit amps, and no matter what I turned on or off, I kept getting this annoying thump, when I switched presets or scenes. I finally...
