Best Active Speaker for AX8?

I'm a bit biased, but I use QSC CP8's for my rig and they are plenty loud and clear for FRFR setups with the AX8. Don't be fooled by the size either. These 8" speakers will produce more low frequency than a 12" guitar speaker, all day long!

AX8 to a Headrush FRFR 1x12

I may be biased, but I'm using the AX8 with two QSC CP8's (1000W 8" 2-way powered loudspeaker with more than enough LF extension to handle guitar frequency reproduction), and the sound is massive. But take my opinion with a grain of salt. ;)

Best studio monitor for AX8

My Kali Audio LP-6's have been amazing. I hear the LP-8's are great too, but the 6's fit my budget at $150/per speaker. Highly recommend.

While certainly feasible, it's not really the solution I'm requesting. It would be nice to select the scene again to revert it, not leave the preset and come back to it to reset it. Cheers!

Multi Band Comp

Try a high pass filter set around 100-150Hz. A "real" guitar speaker drops off at around 100Hz, so if you're chugging away without removing those frequencies you're probably getting big 60-80Hz spikes that don't need to be there. Not the same thing that you're asking for, but certainly a way to...

So, it looks like Scene Revert only works as all or nothing. I like the ability to have things stay as changed UNTIL I decide to revert the scene. That's the function I'd like to see created. Unless I'm misunderstanding the Scene Revert function.

The thing I don't like about intelligent mode is that it gives my guitar sound this weird kind of "bubbling" noise at really low input (guitar volume rolled way down). Once I found and changed that setting it totally went away.

Using the AX8 as an Interface with PA & Mothership Pedalboard

It's how I run my system. No guitar amp, just a pair of QSC CP8 speakers behind me for self-monitoring from the AX8, and send the outputs directly to the PA system. Sounds amazing.

Sorry, no. That's why I was trying to post a link to the Celestion IR site. It's pretty inexpensive though. celestionplus.com/product/vintage-30-2x12-closed/ I have used the stock 1x12 V30 cab in the past though with pretty good results too.

For the most part. I put the low pass down to around 7 or 8k, and bring the high pass up to 80-100Hz, but everything else comes from the Mark IIC+ amp block. I tried posting a link to the IR, but it wont let me (probably too new still).

I use the Celestion IR 2x12 V30 cab mic'd with 57 and 421 for all my guitar sounds, and just switch clean and dirty as scenes in the amp. Most consistent amp modeling configuration I've ever had.

So, having the X or Y amp channel loaded in another preset, then copying the channel to the clipboard, and then pasting it into the destination preset amp X or Y location does work (just did it last night). Thanks for the workaround tip paulasbell.
