wow these answers baffle me. Are none of you part of a business? Where I work, when we release new products we always guestimate at a lifecycle. Pretty much all businesses do this and im 100% certain Cliff at fractal does the same. Often you can look at their release history to get a guestimate...

understood but it is a business and businesses have timelines. Do those timelines change? Absolutely, but if you don't think Cliff had a number of years in mind for the AXEIII then you are crazy OR he is bad at business. Just saying...I don't know all the models and the dates they were released...

the only info I could find is maybe every 2-3 years they come out with a new version such as AXEII and then the AXEII XL...etc. Is this the typical timeline?

lol so what kind a momentary mute or pause are we talking about? If im playing a clean tone and then jumping into a solo using a different scene which switches channels and such...will I have time to do this in the middle of a song or no?

hmm how long of a mute or pause is it? The helix has no discernable lag when I snapshot with different amps including different amp parameters. it seems silly to me that line6 can figure this out but fractal cant UNLESS maybe this mute is super fast that you are talking about and is no big deal...
