    It's happening to me (win 10 - updated) but only if I have the browser open. There is some kind of conflict going on - found this in an old thread. Try to shut down chrome or mozilla or whatever you use and see what happens.

    Axe-Edit constantly loses connection

    I have noticed the issue for me happens what i have both the axe fx AND the focusrite scarlett interface connected through usb at the same time. Disconnecting the scarlett makes the axe edit working fine. So there's probably a conflict going on between the two devices.

    I agree with this suggestion. In order to have some sound in output, you need to connect input and output blocks in your preset. If the chain is somehow broken, you will have no sound.
