    So what do you guys do about wireless receiver batteries in the IEMs? Do you go for rechargeable or just feed them AAs like it’s Captain Crunch? I’ve been wanting to try IEMs but I haven’t due to cost and I read that batteries don’t last long.

    Awesome. I always assumed radio frequencies traveled at the speed of sound. I guess it makes perfect sense. If they did, how could a plane traveling at Mach 1 ever talk to anyone in front of them?

    Not to make this a science discussion but wouldn’t RF refer to radio frequency. A radio frequency is a sound wave that would be limited to the speed of sound I believe. IR, infrared, is in the light spectrum. Edit: I’ve been corrected. RF does not propagate like sound waves. Back to school for me.

    Channel 3 has a ton of gain but it really shines when you back the gain off. To me, it’s really touch sensitive and doesn’t thin out. Very receptive to riding your guitar volume.

    I’ve owned a TC-50 since they came out. It’s an awesome amp, but I always wanted a more transparent fx loop and the ability to switch on the drive/tight switches via foot control. This solved everything. And I got it in a pedal now. (FM3) :cool:

    My point was that it was implied that there was a difference with the presence between the TC50 and TC100. There is not. Both have presence knobs and both are in the same spot in the circuit.

    I think I used 3 - 6 dB. In the low region, maybe 100 Hz, i reduced. In the uppers, maybe 8 Hz, I boosted.

    I had a situation where a mission pedal wouldn’t make it all the way. I figured out when calibrating, I needed to rock it back and forth more than once. Your problem may be the cable though.

    Haha, thanks! It’s a sweet guitar. All I had to do is change all the wiring, pickups, file the nut slots, file the fret ends, knock some gloss off the back of the neck, set it up properly. Easy peasy. 🥺😉

    Austin Buddy Naked Amps 1000? @austinbuddy updated everything and since the update he did, there have been only minor changes. He did update half of the presets, but he later updated the rest. Everything should be fine.

    You can change the power tubes and magically, it will work like that amp was made for the new tube type. You can’t install 2 different power tube types in the same amp because the magic doesn’t work like that. ;)
