Replaced button Had completely open up the unit and remove the contact board on the inside Not the easiest to access Needed to remove one of the circuit boards to access the bottom of the button But all is good!!

That’s the same answer I got from fractal I’m not 100% comfortable opening it up Plus it’s a pain in the ass to dismantle my board but I guess it has to be done

Has anyone ever replaced a footswitch button on their fx8 or Ax8?? If so can I just unscrew the nut from the face of the unit or do I need open up the whole unit??

Amp switching

Does that work with a TRS Cable?? I had a snake made for my Fx8 that I used with a Friedman JJ jr I set up the relay and it worked fine Just got a small box50 and the same set up doesn’t work

Anyone using the Friedman JJ jr In 4cm

Just bought a Friedman JJ jr amp and matching Friedman 2x12 vintage cab Hooked up my FX8 Everything sounds fine. I’ve been running it through my Marshall Jcm 2000 dsl 100 head and I have a relay block set up in my main preset to switch the channels on the Marshall No issues at all...

I’m still a newbie to the fx 8 I got the mission to control the wah sound But the switch does nothing How do I get the switch external controller ( pedal 2 jack on fx8) to bypass??

Relay Switching on a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100

Sorry for the redundancy of this question but I just want to be certain how I'm hooking up my rig. I contacted Marshall and they stated that the amp switches tip to sleeve. Does that mean I need a TRS from the FX8 to a TS to the amp?? or TRS to TRS or TS to TS. I'm very confused!!! Thanks

4CM cables?

So Im about to pull the trigger on some cables from redco ( Thank you to everyone who recommended them) I plan on putting the fx8 on a pedal pad type board with outputs on the outside of the board. I’m going to have to run short cables underneath from the fx8 to the inside of the output...

Hey there Your pedalboard set up is exactly what I’m looking to do! I’m about to receive my fx8 in a few days I’ll have that an expression pedal, my line 6 g50 relay base and possibly a drop pedal Did you wire everything up yourself? Any tips? Thanks mike
