    Good news. I’ve done both. I now add a button to the layout and send manually if I need to as all my presets have saved preset tempo. If I want sometimes I set the auto send function in BH.

    Pretty much exactly as your steps. Sometimes I find BH goes weird and rebooting iPhone fixes it. Have you tried that? Especially when moving from cell to wifi. I connect using ud-bt01 over Bluetooth connected to USB.

    I have a 2013 Les Paul Signature T with coil tap humbuckers so you can get a single coil sound on either or both pickups if you need. With the AX8 I can almost get any sound with this guitar and my rig. It’s my only Gibson and my main axe now. I don’t find the neck that big.

    I do it a lot. Power is power. As long as you remember to save any changes first if you made them. I rarely do panel changes during gig I need to save and when it’s time to tear down the plugs fly and the whole band just starts pulling all extension cords in sight out of wall! :confused:

    The way i understand that scenario there is an external amp in the effects loop whose signal is coming in via IN2. So the amp signal with cab sim goes out of output 1 left to stage and the amp signal with no cab sim goes out of output 1 right to the PA.

    Yes, I guess i meant to say « only adjust settings on the virtual gear that you find on your real world counterparts - amp, pedals, etc. ». As there are many settings in the Axe gear that you won’t be able to change on real world gear - the rabbit hole.

    You may want to try getting your tone down with an old school cable first. Then bring wireless into the picture. It shouldn’t have an effect if set up properly.

    If you are « old school » - set up your signal chains just like you do on real gear because you already know that - and only adjust settings that are on the real gear. You will be surprised at how close this comes if you have a good monitoring system. Then you can go down the rabbit hole later...

    Bingo! Thanks. You have to do CMD + SHIFT + . For MacOS while in the finder app to have this folder show up, but it’s there. That explains why the tags are not syncing even though i am using a common drive for the other AXEdit settings. It makes sense as some people would want this behaviour.

    I believe the AX8-Edit has a feature that allows you to export a preset-cab bundle. So if you create presets with your ultimate 'combo' amp signal chains, you can export them together. I haven't used this feature yet.

    If I am interpreting this correctly for AX8 I would enter for preset in bank 58 preset 6 an LSB of 0 an MSB of 3 and a program of 77. This is using the table on page 101 of AX8 manual. It seems like LSB is always 0 and MSB will be 0,1,2 or 3 depending on the bank???
