    Stephen Carpenter Deftones Playthroughs

I grew up in a small town in NZ and used to head down with a friend to this random store that was the place you paid your power bill and also happened to sell CDs, just so that we could ask to put the Escape from L.A. soundtrack on some headphones and listen to this track:

New Windows 10 Driver for Axe-Fx III

I get this issue too. I basically can't use Axe Edit III while Pro Tools is open. Axe-Fx III Firmware Release Version 19.06 Public Beta

The only thing that I'm wondering about here is the mismatch between 6 sections and 8 scenes. I'm in the one preset per song camp, and there are a couple of songs where I'm actually using all 8 scenes. Is it safe to assume that I don't actually have to use sections, and instead I can stick with...

Axe-Fx III Factory Presets Release 19.04

I think you might be confusing Amps and Presets - they're two separate things. There is not a Factory Preset for every Amp Type. To get to the list of Amps you show in that screenshot, you need to go into an Amp block and try changing it to a different Amp Type. It's not possible for any user...

One of the first gigs with the Axe Fx and FC-12, lost all sound midway through a song - went into full panic mode, turning the Axe-Fx off and back on again with no luck getting the sound back. Once the song had ended I realized that I had fat-footed the Preset Down button into a blank preset...

Newbie seeks advice on system build

Just want to clarify this point a little as it seems to indicate some misunderstanding with regards to amps and scenes: Scenes have no impact on how much processing power you need, a scene is simply a set of saved channel and bypass settings for each block in your preset. There are 8 scenes in...

The issue is also resolved if I change Preset 2 by copying the current channel from Amp Block 2, changing the Amp Block to Amp Block 1, then pasting the channel to that Amp Block. Great suggestion - I just unplugged everything from my Axe-Fx including my guitar, so that all that was left was 2 XLRs from Output 1 and the power cable, and ran the same test by simply turning the Value knob to change presets (obviously using the synth version of Preset 1). Your preferred way to add boost to lead?

If you just want a volume boost, you can add a Filter block just before your ambient FX (verb and delay), and leave it with a flat EQ line, but with something like +3.5dB on the Level knob. Start with it bypassed, and kick it in when you want to boost.
