EV1 or EV2?

Came from Dunlop X to a EV2. Never looked back. I prefer the "mini" size and the feel is fantastic.

What is the point of SPDIF if it's just going to be converted to USB anyway?

I use an external interface with my Fractal via SPDIF. I can record my videos, do classes with a mic or plug other guitars and plugins simultaneously , and have more flexibility with this configuration. Only one cable from the Fractal and no color or input gain problems with the interface...

Sorry for not reply!! I was on my vacation. I made the preset on previous FW and made the test with the latest firmware without touching anything. I just put one IN block and then the OUT block. Don't touch anything or level anything. With the correct Input A/D sensitivity the Fractal Level...

Idk if it helps but... I just made a test and everything is fine! I use my FM9 via SPDIF with a Scarlett 8i6. The guitar is a PRS SE Holcomb with hot pickus. The input sensitivity in the FM9 is 6%. I cheked the guitar directly into the Scarlett, gain at 0% with instrument type input. Recorded...

Anyone else have the default input gain on their FM9 be way too high?

It would be interesting to have a visual halo ring on the Editor like on some audio interfaces instead of numbers?? To see when its clipping and no have the obsession for the number??

If you like amp x, try amp y

I use HBEv1 for everything and I like a lot Shur Badger 30 or Band commander for cleans. 6160block and 5153 blue Chanel are another musts on my FM9. Just Brit800 with ts style pedal in front... Too many and good options to try!! :)

I only use the Input gate because I think the important gate is there to clean the guitar in before amp and pedals. I set mine usually - 60, ratio 3, fast attack, medium-fast release. Have you checked the AC frequency setting for your location? Between Out 3 and In 3 you have an external pedal...

Dyna Cabs...why don't I get it?

I haven't been able to delve much into DC but I have to say that I like them a lot, I see more options than the traditional IR and this is just the tip of the iceberg.I also notice my tones cleaner and more authentic.

I think mine are the old version, with a lot of settings on the rear panel, you can adjust bass, mid, treble and bedroom. If the new ones are even better... I have to check ones :D

From Fm9 to Fm3....crazy?

There is no wrong choices, I play at home but for me I prefer the FM9. I love to tweak controls and it make me possible try different things to make the videos for my channel, but the FM3 its a perfect workhorse with huge quality!! Go with your preference and enjoy it

3 bugs?? 1ºWhen I use my FM3 as soundcard all the audio is saturated and noisy 2ºthe MIDI IN led is always on. 3º Can't hear anything if I try to reamp.
