New Axe-Fx lll owner

The FX lll is a feel players dream imho. Touch sensitive, cleans up at the guitars volume control. Its a big step up from the FX ll. I also own an FX8 which is great. I run that with a pair of Vox AC10s. The stereo effects are awesome. Lets just say I am a very happy customer! Jim

I received an invitation for the FC-6 yesterday and believe me I was tempted but I'm holding off for the FC-12 dadgummit! What makes it easier to wait is first, I'm having thumb surgery next week, and second, I have an FCB1010 to get me through presets. I'm hoping that by the end of the recovery...

Thanks! Every time I plug in I am amazed. There is definitely some "secret sauce" in the lll. I'm finding more natural compression in models, particularly Class A amps. Also an overall improvement in dynamics and pick attack. For me the lll is a "feel" players dream! Love it!

MFC-101 no longer available?

Back when the FX3's waiting lists were announced I hopped on an FX2+ and an MFC-101. Figured it would be the best price I would find on new units! I think the FX2 was $1650 and the 101 was regular price. Glad I did!

I went to the Reaper DAW site and it looks like it will suit my needs fine. Not to mention the price is quite reasonable. Lots 'o instructional videos also. Thanks to the tips I have a starting point. Much obliged!
