    This was a fun one to dial in. I approximated my favorite combination of IR’s from the John Petrucci IR collection, specifically the Terminal Velocity 4x12 Recto 421 and SM7B. It’s not identical, but it’ll get you close. I could probably nail it with a parametric EQ and a little more time...

    No, but it stops if you tab over and back. It’s hard to see in the GIF but it also seems to cycle through different characters. Wrapping is what I first thought when I saw it. If I cycle through only cabs with shorter names, it won’t happen. That may confirm that it’s indeed a wrapping issue...

    FM3 (Original with headphone jack) Firmware 7.0 (fresh install) Today I noticed that when scrolling through user cabs, ascii characters will appear on the left side of the display. This is not preset or cab dependent and only happens with the User Cab Bank. See image below:

    They probably get enough people asking for it that they just started putting it into their bagging routine. My local grocer asks all the time. If I’m only buying a gallon of milk or water, I say no and just carry it out by the handle.

    One thing to note about the factory presets… Many blocks are inactive on different scenes. A Drive block in a Recto preset for example. When browsing through them, make sure drop into the grid and enable various blocks. You may find that a high gain tone is “flubby” without the drive block enabled.

    You could always do one of those “would you like to share data with FAS to improve” things that a lot of software companies do (opt-in of course) to track what parameters players use and don’t use. I know I’d share that data.
