That's not what I'm saying. I don't use it for recording. I did go back to 6.0 and used a few mods that didn't make much of a difference on 7.3. I do prefer a more polished open tone when LIVE and LOUD. Dropping Master Bias Excursion to 20, negative feedback up from 3.4 to 5.0. No compression...

I used 6.0 last night and it felt much better. I'm going to go back to Ares 3.01 i think it was and use it live next week. That's the advantage using FAS. There's plenty of different firmwares that fits .

Definitely know what you mean here. I ran the new firmware last night with no issues other than the tone wasn't as clear as 6.0 . Almost felt like the strings had a softness to them and i use 11/48 in Eb tuning. I'm back on 6.0 for tonight's show.

Yes. Save the setting then left click on the parameter you want to change. Presets page opens . (Right Click) on first preset then (shift + right click) the last preset in the group. All presets should light up blue for saving. Hit the save button and let it do the job.

Yes on the song list. I have each song title to see on dark stages and i have delay tempo saved per song or a different pitch block harmony note or a chorus rate that may change from 1 to 1/2 in tempo with adjust depth.

I use the same preset and it's a copy/paste for 120 songs. Cpu runs about 55%. Chain is input, wah, amp, cab, delay (A/B) peq (solo-boost) . I've noticed this happening in the past and it was around a 4db drop at my show yesterday. I'll try the original preset tonight to see if it changes...

Down loaded 5.03 2 days ago, did 2 shows this weekend. Noticed the Friedman BE V1,V2,V3 amp block input drive has changed to be less sensitive to pick attack, even with the sat switch on. Almost like there's another gate blocking the sensitivity. Anyone?

Yeah the stereo spread makes a difference in volume. I've noticed this. Checked out some user mono presets and no one adjustments this to "0"

Thanks for your reply. I noticed the volume of the effect gets a few db louder and the mix sounds more up front. Chorus as an example, I keep it in line after amp/cab blocks , mix at 35%, level set at -2db seems to be balanced . Reverb block has the same option . Just curious.

Setup menu, when choosing delay, ALL, or dly/rev for the spillover, it doesn't allow the delay block to Spillover . Plex delay block works though. Didn't try the reverb block. Tested by turning off the delay with a 50% repeat after a strum.

1st gig completed with 4.0 . I've only used Friedman BE for dirty and Shiva Clean for clean. It sounds great but there's something not right with the sustain compared to the past 7 years using FAS. Noise gate threshold at .65 and Ratio at 2.0 as always. Felt like my guitar volume wasn't at max...

I was going to use output 2 global eq to get some volume back from the volume drop issue in beta4 for my monitor, noticed no change in volume when moving the gain slider up or down. It is turn ON , graphic and parametric eq was used in the process.

Is it possible to have a preset with amp/cab blocks copy/paste too 40 presets now? When making adjustments to 1 preset and that adjustment is made on the other 39. Like in axe fx 2 and 3. This would SAVE a lot of time when using different FOH systems.

You can but you don't have to option to eq your frfr or raise the volume without it affecting FOH.

Just did a gig on 4.0! The tone is incredible , Friedman BE 2010 was full, rich and tight. Remarkable! Possible bug: Output 2 has dropped in volume as before, my output 2 knob has been at 12:00 , today it went to max and i had to use output 2 global eq gain up to get the volume where it was...
