    Headrush FRFR-108 MKII

It's more compact than a 12 inch, so it's easier to drag along or store. Sounds decent I guess, . Plenty loud. Mine's probably Mk1, on which it doesn't angle well horizontally with the way the cables stick out. Not sure if MkII fixed that.

    Anyone using String Joy Strings?

They've got some nice hybrid sets if you're very particular about the gauges and string tension. Just pricey. I put a 9.5-46 on a 25" scale PRS for treble string slinkiness, and a 10-48 on a 24.75" LP Special to get a little heaver bass strings. My fav tension is 10-46 on LP scales. usually...

So save is required only for presets to be gapless? I don't switch presets unless I change songs so I didn't even test that. The scene switches seem smoother without saving though. I only gave it a minute though to test that things still work.

Looking for a guitar that can handle the change of seasons better.

The Yamaha Revstars (standard & professional) have the carbon rods in the neck. It's also a chunky neck, unless you reshape it like I did. It's pretty stable I'd say. For instance, no impact on the other strings when going from standard to Drop D tuning. (I guess many guitars can handle this...

Standing up playing vs Sitting down -- Let's talk about it!

Yea was referring more to this case than in general. However, It’s better to get in shape than just go for gear solutions. A comfort strap won’t help with putting socks on or other things that a tight back or neck will cause outside of playing guitar.

Standing up playing vs Sitting down -- Let's talk about it!

Apparently it's not all about strength if you can't even twist while switching guitars. And comfort straps are just band aids. Look into flexibility and mobility training (Strength Side on YT is fantastic). It can help with disc bulges too. Maybe even some physical therapy. Get some gymnastics...

Is there way to get USB Audio to come out Mono on OUT1?

I use a summed OUT1 (R) to a Friedman ASC-12 and like to run backing tracks from Mac through USB. The reason ebony boards used to be only black is because when sourcing ebony they would cut down 10-15 trees, take only the trunks with black wood and leave the other trees behind. I like the streaky ebony. To me the coolest part about ebony is it's smooth feel.
