Just got my Axe FX II XL+ and it ain't good

The nuts do not even have to be there.The philips screw in the middle of the input board is whats keeps it in place.The fake plastic nuts are exactly what they are.......fake.Now somebody buy me a beer!!!

They are not bad but imho they do not sound like any of your samples on my system.They sound very thin stock.Now I only tune down to Eb and have been using my Ibanez RG gtrs with Tone Zones in them.I can not stand down tuning like most young players do today because it just sound's like pure mud...

S/PDIF issues

OK.........so this FCA610 is firewire and usb.Per the manual it defaults at firewire so after bootup you need to push in a button on the bottom right of the 610 and make sure the red light switches from coax to opt in order to use it as a usb interface which I did.Well while having Studio One...

I ordered and installed but get no signal coming thru your presets.All my other presets are fine except yours.I drug and dropped the cab IR's and amp presets where they needed to be.What am I doing wrong?

Just try any one of the factory presets and tweak to taste.I prefer salt and pepper on my eggs.......my girlfriend prefers them plain.I love ketchup on my hotdog which is a sin to most peeps.

Newbie - buy discounted Axe Fx II or III??

Last month I sold my X3 Live for $300.Took me 3 months on craigslist but there are buyers that know the value of the X3.Most were punk kids that offered me $50.The guy that bought it was a touring Boston tribute band musician that his whole tone was based on the X3.

I bought my Savage back in 2006 and still love it to this day but I pretty much just dialed in my Savage rythm tone on my Fractal in a few minutes.Check it out and remember i'm a newbie.

I can not get tone match to work

Tried it again and it worked.Did not give me the results I wanted but it worked.Afterwards I actually just started from scratch with an Engl preset with a German V30 cab and pretty much nailed it on my own.I didn't buy this Fractal for tone matching anyway so i'm not really worried about...

I can not get tone match to work

I change the cab block to a tone match block per the manuel.Whats weird is the eq curve from my tone sample is -12db or more and almost a straight line.My amps curve looks normal.Will try again after work and take some pics.

As a Fractal newbie I would like to use my AXE FX for bass also but with all the crazy amp names in the factory presets I have no clue which are for bass.I'm an 80's metal Ampeg SVT fan if that helps.Cheers!

Tried a dozen cables,balanced,unbalanced.Its plugged into my Furman power conditioner then tried direct into wall socket.Then tried anolog outs into my interface.Headphones same deal.Spent 5 hrs now on it.I plug in my Line 6 and ISP Theta Pro and they work fine.Plug in my Eleven Rack and works...
