AX8 home setup: hardware that allows me to re-purpose my monitors for another source?

If I use both inputs on my monitors the noise increases too much. The Mackie ended-up working perfectly for me. If I want to use PC + Axe FX, I'll just connect the PC to the Tape In instead of the Echo with unbalanced RCA cables.

External button with dedicated functions (e.g. Scenes 1/2 for all presets)?

I'm starting to get around to setting up my presets and realized I could do with a simple 2 x button footswitch, to setup 2 functions which would be either: * Compression + Drive for ALL presets * Scene 1 + Scene2 for ALL presets I MAY be able to do this with the unit's footswitches, but...
