I even bought an EVH pack today. It had no sound. I screwed with the in/out to no avail. No sound infuriated me. I just wanted a good preset to start with and I get no sound. That email wasn’t polite.

Cat knocked a drink on my AX8

Yep. And now the USB cable is loose in the back and won’t connect to my Mac. I have an invite to buy the FM3 but the AX8 does everything I want. I don’t see a reason to upgrade unless my AX8 is busted. can I open up the AX8 and try to dry and tighten things up ? Can I have it repaired? help.

Settings question for AX8/CLR owners

This makes more sense to me. When I went back to "fix" my presets I was pissed that the manual did not mention this. Im still not sure how to level my presets for consistency but at least I know that I can abandon that method as it did not work for me.

Using AX8-Edit Video Tutorials, Part 1

I’ve watched all of these videos and they are great. Austin Buddy also has a video on setting levels and I so wish I had watched that before I made all my presets with my level turned only halfway up. Now I’m trying to adjust levels to -12db and it’s difficult to do. The videos are very helpful.

Presets for live gig - how best to manage?

I’ll say this... when I played covers I brought one amp....usually a 5153 stealth. I did my best with the 3 channels on the amp and it was great. If I was still doing covers ? I’d make presets of my old rig with the blue and red channel and do what I did before.....just without lugging all the...

Case/gig bag for FX8

Luckily my Ax8 fit in my Mesa Boogie gear bag. It is a great fit and will do for now until I decide on a mono bag etc etc. The g66eu bag cannot be shipped to the USA so that’s out.
