Mac Mini for Music

I'm budget minded, I bought a used one at a good price in 2011 and later put a 750g SSD for the main drive and a large standard drive for storage. A relative gave me a 37 inch TV they were upgrading so thats my monitor. My wife laughs everytime she walks in the room, but hey, it works for me...

From what i remember you don't have to have the dock, it was for a pod to sit in.So ,maybe be something wrong there, contact Atomic support.

cost effective speakers

Out Of Nowhere

One of my favorite factory presets is the so many roads, a lot of times, I'll just cycle different amps in it. Don't think I've ever tried the Supremo Trem, dang what a nice amp, cleans up and crunches the way I like, thanks for the mention. Almost a year with the Ax8 and still trying to scratch...

After 11 years I'm finally becoming an Axe-Fx owner!

Welcome, were all here on party business.I got mine a year ago, haven't turned anything else on since and hardly scratched the surface. The content and people on this forum are stellar. You still have time to load up on coffee, donuts, and other supplies before stepping into the World of Fractal.

AX8 Not working like a tube amp

Try the factory blues aroncino patch, with my Les Paul it has a huge range of clean to rawk. I think it uses the plexi 50 amp

Help connecting to computer

Welcome, maybe you'll have to load a blank preset in Guitar Port or check its settings for monitoring being off, not sure. Would be best to look into a new interface, lots of good ones for not a lot of money. I have a Mac mini, and bought a used Presonus Fire Studio cheap from Guitar Center...

Anyone actually happy here and enjoying their gear?

"Happy as a Field Lark" as my Dad always says. Love the AX8, got some guitars I like, only limited by my own ability. Am gassing for a Gretsch, never had one.

Is the Atomic Reactor 50W active cab really a true FRFR?

Going from memory, I think it was described as full range, but the tube circuit affected the sound some. Older modelers were thought to need tube warming up. There are probably some 5 year old threads on the amp on this forum. I had one of the 18 watt amps, never cared for it too much, try...
