Overall favorite powered cab?

I have the Laney FR and its pretty good but i have never tried anything else! Used to be able to get it on Thomann for half the price but it looks like they don't sell it anymore.

Is the Neutral Tonestack a James/Baxandall?

"Selecting “Neutral” sets a well-behaved “hi-fi” kind of tone stack, where putting all the controls at noon will give you a flat response." From my understanding this is also what a James tonestack does as well, but does the Neutral function as a James?

What´s with the Wizard W800 - is it just a super Marshall? Can we get close with Axefx3?

i hope that bad experience at the trade shows doesn't count us out of a model forever! They really are great amps with a different flavor and would love to see em (and not spend 4k)

[HELP] Killswitch Engage - Hate By Design

I’ve wanted a framus for a while now but i’ve had success with using a Soldano and switching the tonestack out with an Orange to replicate the James EQ

UA Apollo users....... what are your “MUST HAVE” plugins ?

my two most used are the Distressor and Manley Massive Passive, but everything I've tried has been incredible. UAD has me locked in so bad lmao

JCM800 tricks to make it sound better

I've found the best sounds I get from them are when I use a tubescreamer before, every knob at 12:00, which isn't what I usually do with tubescreamers but I gave it a shot after i saw the Every Time I Die guitarist do it. Gives it a nice punch!

A fun exercise in nostalgia

I used the Digitech Gnx3 into a Rogue combo for the first few years of playing guitar. In hindsight it must have sounded like literal watertrash but back then it was so awesome - especially since it sponsored the Guitar World tabs and you could download tone presets from every tab they made...
