Yes. but I don't think post processing has huge impact on the character of the amp. if you listen to the DI+Amp file, the amp track is without post processing. It's almost the same. maybe a touch of compression and cutting the harsh frequencies in the high mids (that to my ears doesn't sound too...

S/pdif for recording

I had a focusrite 2i2 then I switched to 18i6. I don't know if my 2i2 had a problem or not but it sounded really wierd. both xlr and spdif sound good on 18i6 :)

I switched from xlr to spdif for recording and I can hear a difference in quality. also playing has become more enjoyable. depends on the audio interface though. if you have nice preamps you're good to go with xlr recording :)

Hi :) I was messing with Morgan AC20 12ax7 T the other day. when I switch to Y in the amp block the AX8 edit freezes and the sound goes digitally weird. then I have to change the preset from ax8 panel and reset AX8 edit. happens every time I select Y. I attached a screenshot of this error. thanks

today I experienced some pops and clicks via Spdif. once every 10 or 15 miutes. I have a focusrite 18i6. never had this problem before. it doesn't happen constantly. there's a sync problem I guess. focusrite is locked on Spdif but when that click happens, suddenly unlocks for a second. this...

I'll check your patch :) usually live tones are different from studio tones. in that rig rundown you see at least 4 amps with slightly different settings :)) yeah you're right speaker settings especially low resonance frequency make a huge difference
