I will add to Dave's benefit I don't think he was going for the most flat response speaker available. I think his goal was something that sounded more guitar like with "thump" (which it has tons of). If I am correct in assuming that was his goal then...he nailed it.

Friedman vs Yamaha - Which FRFR to buy?

I had the Friedman (along with a CLR & Mission Gemini 2) and it is hyped in the low end imo. Still sounds good and is fun to play but it wasn't a flat response like the CLR. Lots of high gain players love the Friedman FRFR though so YMMV.

Signature Required?

My main concern was it could have been stolen off of my porch. I would assume since Fractal required a signature then they are covered regardless. I would also assume that if no signature was obtained then the buyer/recipient is covered regardless as well. Seems like a risky practice on the part...

Do you find that your patches translate well from the S8’s to the CLR? I am assuming based off your comment you would need to add in some low end on the CLR but overall any pros or cons on the sceptre vs the CLR? (I’m currently using JBL LSR305’s and hoping the S8’s will be a noticeable upgrade)...

Thats actually a very good point and maybe the answer right there. I didn't think of it in that way as far as when not using the reactive load part of the PS2 and using only the Line In then it does not compensate for the impedance curve. That may be where the disconnect is coming from.

Thanks. What do you mean though "if you only put 100% reverb in parallel it wont increase the volume?" When I place a Reverb block solely in parallel without any other FX block it does increase the volume substantially. It gets even worse the more blocks I add in parallel.

Preset not working 9.02 beta AX8

Hello.....This preset works on Scene 1 but when I switch to any other scene I get lots of loud cracks and pops when i try and play. Im currently using the 9.02 beta with the AX8. I attached the preset. Thanks!

Aha thanks...I didn't even think about it being set to a different scale. Is there a way to do what I am trying to do which is set different unique parameters attached to the same scene controller? I am guessing its a no. ha

Thanks. Yes I got that the numbers don't change when switching back/forth from scenes but the positions of the knobs do. To me it looks like the positions of the knobs are not lining up to the same values. The input drive is substantially higher (on the knobs) to the Input trim. He's got the...

Out 1 Main Level ?

Thank you! I am running the AX8 into a 2x12 Mission Gemini FRFR cab. The Gemini definitely sounded like it didn't like that hot of a signal with the OUT 1 Main at the max level. I'll dial it back around 10 where I had it previously and follow your advice. :)
