Anyone else have the default input gain on their FM9 be way too high?

Yep, I never had a problem before with clipping until I upgraded to 5.1 firmware. That's when I noticed the clipping light coming on. I did not mind the red hitting sometime. I turned it down to 10. Sounds the same but the clip light stays off now.

Poll: Second unit for home use and backup

I am fortunate to own an FM9 and FM3. I gig with the 9 and practice at home with the 3. If I need a backup, I carry the 3 and it is a perfect backup. I do more experimenting with the 3 and if I like what I hear I duplicate to the 9. This situation in my eye view is the best combination. Two...

Are most of you gigging with your FM9's?

I was on the list to get mine from the get go. I gig with it once every week. I was hesitant to put the latest software update on but I did and I have had no problems with software or hardware. These are very good units and very sturdy. Go getcha one.

INSANE FAS HAS EV-1 and EV-2 in stock. Help me decide....

I have 2 EV-1's and just got an EV-2 for the compact size. The EV-2 is pretty cool to be so small. I like it the best, but both are great products. You can't go wrong with either one.

Finally had a break where I could update to firmware 7. Everything went smooth and all sounds pretty good. I played a little with the dyna cabs, but will need to really set down and try to hone them in. I did update the latest presets, but was wondering how do you know if it took. It does not...

I did all of those steps. Now the FM3 edit says fw 6.00 - Beta and the FM3 itself says fw 6.00 beta 4. thats the only questionable aspect at the moment.

Tuner Heal Down No Spillover

When I have the unit set to tuner heal down, the unit is just silent. No delay or reverb. Is there a setting to have the spillover with the Tuner Heal Down operational? It works great when changing presets but not in Heal down tuner. Let me know if there is a solution.

Out of curiosity. I downloaded all presets and used fractal bot to install. Fractal bot showed them being installed but the FM3 unit never did anything like when I installed 4.01. Is this right or is it a issue? 4.1 the FM3 showed installed and had to restart. After the Presets it just...

Can you Velcro FM3 to a Pedaltrain board?

I used a small strip the size of the unit leg that came with the pedalboard. It has been holding fine for two months now traveling twice a week. I do use the rack case to transport.

Unfortunately it will produce sound, but you really have to crank the volume. Works a whole lot better if you put it into the return.
