Axe-Fx II "Ares" Rev 2.00 Firmware Release

I still love my II XL+ and see no reason to change anything about my current Fractal rig. Ares 2.00 is still amazing. Both amp and cab sims are off globally since I'm using the Mesa 2:90 and Mesa cabs. I'm using the Axe Fx mainly as a preamp/effects processor.

Did you stay on Fw 8.x Or move to 9.x (poll)

Went from Q9.00 Beta straight to Q9.03 lastnight.. Spent about an hour flipping and playing through the stock presets.. I have to say right out of the gate, I dig it, it's pretty nice. Think Q9.03 is what I'll be rocking for a little while. Thanks to everyone at FAS!

Did you stay on Fw 8.x Or move to 9.x (poll)

I went from 8.02, to 9.00 Beta, then to 9.00 official release, but decided to stay on 9.00 Beta.. Have not tried either 9.01 or 9.02 yet Beta or Final Release.. So maybe I'm missing out on a few things.. lol

MFC-101 Firmware 3.09 Public Beta

Last MFC-101 Mark lll I had I bought used and it was on 3.08.. It crapped out on me so I purchased a new MFC-101 Mark lll directly from Fractal Audio last week. Just recieved it about an hour ago and low and behold, it came from the factory with 3.09 loaded. Everything seems to work flawlessly...

Axe-Fx II "Quantum" Rev 9.00 Firmware Release

Ok, Reverted back to 8.02, and then back to Beta 9 again.. Working perfectly and sounds so much better.. Q9 Beta sounds better than both Q8.02 and Q9.. Life is good again.. lol

No, you're not crazy.. I definitely hear it too, and I have very good ears.. Beta 9 sounded way better and had alot more magic. I will probably revert back to Beta 9 and ditch the final release version myself..

That's good to know. It was definitely a very stupid and costly mistake on my part, one which won't happen again. Glad you got a laugh out of me running it over with my SUV, I myself had a LMAO moment at the table flipping GIF that was posted above in response.. Out of curiosity, I plugged in...

LMAO @ the GIF.. :D Good one.. I'm sure I deserve that.. lol Switches and everything were good, not dirty, nothing. I couldn't figure it out, and I'm more than familiar with this kind of gear.. Only thing I could conclude was it was just something faulty with the MFC itself, so just replacing it...

Had the exact same issue today.. Cables and connections all good, using FASLINK, had to reset it like 3 or 4 times in a row because it kept acting up, set things back to how they were, but it kept freezing up, as in none of the switches would do anything at all without forcing me to reboot the...
