    I moved from the HS5's to a pair of Adam A5X's - huge improvement in sound and tone IMO. If you can get them, I'd strongly recommend the A5X's over the HS5's. It's not that the HS5's are 'bad' - it's more that the A5X's are so good.

    I use a PEQ just before the Out block. Typically low cut around 100 with a 36 slope, hi cut around 7k - 7.5k with a slope of 36. I also sweep the frequencies to eliminate the nasty nasal sections - typically one around 2.3k and one at about 5k (from memory). Set these to -3db with a q of almost 1.

    I thought it might be the IEMs themselves as they're new, but the same happened when I used another set of headphones from the IEM receiver. Will see if I can send a stereo file through the mixer to the IEMs and see if that has the same issue. Good idea!

    Maybe I missed the post on it, but is there anywhere that explains the 'compander' block (and in the delay blocks), and suggested settings? I've played around with it, but no idea what it's doing, so I'm just keeping it off for now. Similar with the master time on delays.

    Options with a third expression pedal?

    I have a 2nd dedicated lead delay block for solo scenes - my exp pedal for delay just adjusts the mix of my rhythm delay block.
