Mac Ventura 13.0.1 does not communicate with my FM9 unit. UPDATE: I had to restart my MacBook to get it to communicate with the FM9. Why? Beats me...

Axe-Fx Firmware Version 21.00 Release Candidate 2 (Beta 8)

I loaded the FW and did the "Refresh After New Firmware" operation. I am using the Mark Day's Recto Cygnus factory preset (one of my favorites) and can hear some pretty loud popping sounds. I am guessing that I have to turn the Out 1 levels down to where they're not clipping?

the output levels are registering a signal on the output block. Yeah, that's the problem. Followed the manual and voila! I don't understand why Fractal created the presets this way, really frustrating.

Uh, not a single one of the factory presets produce any sound. I have the latest firmware. I also have installed some Austin Buddy presets and they work. What the hey? I also checked the output levels and the levels are jumping as expected when playing.

OK, that makes sense. I don't tinker with anything to any real degree yet and didn't know that was the reason they get updated or not.

These are absolutely killer, especially the clean presets, Prince Tone, *Verb, and *Deluxe are my current in home practice presets for Jazz'ing . A huge step up. Bravo! Looking forward to the released versions.

I don't really know. Other people have been saying they have Axe Edit open during the incidents. It seems like most of the stories are anecdotal right now. I don't think it's just Moke's presets, it seems like it's amps models that have high gain are the ones that emit the 'pop'.

I can't really say with 100% confidence. Going forward, I am going to be more cognizant of it and write down what I was doing at the time I heard the 'pop'. I am also using an FC-12 to change presets. The most recent incident did not involve me changing presets.

Using one of Moke's Presets - Live Vai Tone. Not really doing much of anything other than playing an Ibanez RG through it with Yamaha Studio speakers. That's really about it.

Using Expression Pedal as Volume Pedal in Axe-Fx III + FC-12

I've read all the documentation to setup my EP by connecting it to my FC-12 and I can see that Axe III recognizes my foot travels over it when I calibrate the EP. The only thing is that using it as a Volume Pedal isn't working. Do I need to add another block to my preset or is there something...

Liquid stain inside the LED Window?

I was cleaning my MFC-101 today and thought there was a liquid spill (coffee) on the window and assumed it's an exterior stain. However, when unsuccessfully cleaning it, I saw that the stain is on the inside. Is there anyway to remove the plate so that I can get access to it?
