    My 1st BMW, 20 years ago, needed regularly oil. I've never had to add oil with the next ones and never had a problem. Maintenance costs are not expensive compared to mainstream brands, here in Europe. The warranty can be expanded to 5 years for less than 1000€. Maybe am I lucky....

    As far as my memory is concerned, Herbie 3 doesn't sound off compared to what I remember of my Herbert. Ok, it was years ago. But Dizzy 3 lacks of gain compared to the VH4 I had.

    I've just tested the VH4 ch.3 and 4 in FW 16.01. As I remember my own VH4, I think that ch.4 is ok. To suit my rememberings, for ch.3 I have to set input trim on +3.8.

    My Axe III Mk1 makes a light fan noise that I don't hear when I'm 50 cm far from it. With a dBmeter app on my iphone, it turns around 40 dB placed on the Axe and 30 dB at 50 cm.
