A good alternative To Matrix Amps?

Any Class AB amp is going to inherently sound better than a class D. Class D gets the job done in a tight package though. 170 Watts is a lot of power to pack into a 5x5x4 box like the power stage does.

Sustainac pick-up simulation is it possible?

I have a guitar with one and love it. But I think TC Electronic just came out with a pedal that does a half decent job of mimicking one. Another option is an Ebow but I don’t like them and the Sustainiac is much more controllable.

I have the smaller Powerstage and it is plenty loud to cause hearing damage, keep up with a drummer and then some. The bigger 700(?) watt unit is only a few db louder. I had a Matrix back in the day and I think the SD is just fine in comparison. I’m also not super picky about amps. Any decent...

I’ve dealt with Mark quite a few times and he is such a great guy. I actually avidly watched his YouTube videos before I ever knew he was employed by Fractal. Then I got an email from him for support one day and was floored! Also, an amazing guitar player.

Yep! I placed quite a large order last year and Mark Day (I love hearing from him!) emailed me asking for a picture of the last four numbers of the card I used and a picture of me holing my drivers license. Obviously, the order went through no problem but like you said, they are quite careful.

You quoted me saying "same space" when I never actually said that. I said "the space". They are both floor board modelers with three switches that are trying to accomplish the same thing. They're competitors regardless of price.

Yeah man, I've been downloading presets and playing/learning songs that I never bothered with because I have no desire to own a Fender Deluxe Reverb or the money for a Diezel Herbert. Being able to go through and see why a Diezel, Bogner or Freidman is so awesome is inspiring.
