cool thanks. the weird thing is that when the midi cable isnt hooked up it only stays on for a second or two. when i plug it in it stays on the page. i'll try it.

i used my fx8 first time last night in rehersal and it worked pretty well. one issue i had was, i was running midi clock from abeton live straight in to the fx8 for tempo synced delays, etc. evertime i would click the f3 tempo button just to make sure the tempo was right it would stay stuck on...

volume block tone suck

yes i did thats what i said in my first sentence of my post. i'm just putting a volume pedal after my rc booster and jr rockett dude pedal in the loop. works fine and feels better than the cheesy expression pedal.

yea thats as high as it goes. how do i get it to stretch all the way up? should i get a better expression pedal? are the fractal ones the best and worth it? they are just so big.

i never touched anything in the modifiers section other than setting up ext in source. might it have anything to do with the moog pedal it was only 40 bucks.

got a brand new moog expression pedal hooked up calibrated and working fine. i need to keep the volume block engaged for swells and other volume adjustments but the problem is that when i turn the volume block off to test the tone i can hear a slight bump in volume and the tone gets bigger all...

volume block issue

the unit is brand new just got it a few days ago. no the footswitch block is empty on the footswitch page. it wont let me add another volume block on the effets page but it will on the footswitch page. i even tried a fresh blank preset and it only allows me to add one volume block.

is that under footswitches then global? if so, yea nothing is on there. i got a wah, drives, trem, vol 1, delay, delay, reverb, then on 8 i cant put another volume block. weird?

volume block issue

in the manual it says you can have two volume blocks. i only have one set up in fx8 edit on #4 to have a volume pedal post drive for swells. when i try and add another volume block on #8 for a volume boost it's (vol/panner) greyed out. i do have a trem/panner on #3, is this affecting it? any clues?

4cm issues

i'm trying to hook up my atomic amplifire in 4cm with fx8 and i got sound coming out and effects but i noticed on a distorted tone the delays are not distorted too they are clean. all effects are way lower in volume than compared to running the AA straight into the fx8. is there a setting i need...

hi, can you use the relay functions on the fx8 to turn od pedals on and off? so they can be set up in scenes so one button turns on the od, delay, reverb, etc? thanks

Ax8 vs fx8 in front of amp. NO 4cm

Just got the ax8 and want to run it either straight into my amp or 4cm. So your saying it's better to run into a tube amp from out 2 instead of out 1(which the manual says to do)? Thanks

interesting. i don't have a separate power amp but i do have a fender bassbreaker 15 head (great little amp with no pedals). the way i run my rig now is pedalboard into maz 38 head into bassbreaker 112 cab. i guess i could go into bb effects loop in with out 2 of ax8 then into cab. question...

cool thanks for the answers. so say i attach the volume pedal to a level (from off to on) of a drive pedal thats before the delays i can use that to swell in the volume and get the delays to trail without using a volume block? i plan to use the ax8 in sticky scene mode and just have a preset...
