Thanks, but I received this from Dave himself: "if you don't use the use first jack there will be a load. So if you come out of the other speaker jack to feed the box then you are good. Again have nothing plugged into the use first speaker jack.. Use the other speaker jack to feed your IR box...

Please help with my new FRFR setup

Are you able to play some recorded songs through them that you know well? That way you can compare just the FR212 to other speakers you might be more familiar with, like the HS8's, and find out if it's the new speaker or the cab sims/speaker impedence/whatever in the AxeFX giving you trouble.

That's really more like how I'd be using them. I'm basically looking for something to replace my 2x12 cabinet, so I'd still be coming out ahead on the size & weight :) Have you ever used them at low-ish volume? I'd like to get something I could use quietly once in a while, too.
