I have an Ampeg SVT4-Pro and I'm wanting to use it as a power amp to power the 8x10 and use the XL+ for the preamp. Just like I do when I'm playing the guitar. My question is this: Is there anyone here that has or uses that amp and does the effects loop on it work like a guitar amps effects...

Why does my volume get KILLED when I set the bypass of my delay blocks to "Mute FX In" so I can get trails? As soon as I change it to thru my preset screams. Just wanting a explanation on the matter. Thanks

Yes I understand that. And I believe I got this cable because you said that you use it lol. Whenever I hit “enter” on the MFC, MFC Edit should be updating with what my MFC says. It doesn’t. I don’t get a progress bar in MFC Edit.

I'm trying to assign IA16 to external controller 7, that way I can use my IA switch as a momentary button and turn the hold function on for my delay or reverbs. I've looked through the manual and also searched on here and couldn't find any literature. Maybe I'm skipping over it. Any help...

Just a thought/complaint

I have friends with both the KPA and the Helix and they update like FAS. Community's are just as strong as ours. Just making an observation. Obviously it's not a deal breaker. If it was I wouldn't have dumped my retirement into.

Just a thought/complaint

I know that the MFC edit is a separate entity from Fractal even though Fractal boosts it as the official editing software for their MFC. But why not include the editor with a new MFC purchase? It'd almost be like Fractal making its uers pay for Axe Edit after buying a unit. Just my thoughts...

Effects to use for Ambient Guitar Noises

Can we program an IA switch on the MFC to work as a momentary switch that we could possibly hold down and cause the feedback of say a delay to go from 10% to 95-100% to get some ambient tones?

So I have not invested the money into buying an FRFR cab just yet. So for now I'm still using my Mesa Dual FX Return through my Mesa Oversized 4x12 with my XL+. I played a gig a couple weeks ago (it was my first one with the Axe) and ran Out 1 straight to FOH. Everyone said it sounded great...

Scenes vs presets

I have my Axe set up in the 4 bank size. Rather than using scenes I just made templates of my "go to" tones and used them for each preset. So preset 001-004 is song 1 in our set. Since I have huge feet and don't really need all 4 presets for each song I have duplicate sounds on preset 3 and...
