Sysex checksum for entire preset

What message do you mean when you talk about an entire preset message? A message you send or receive? Checksum is calculated the same for each sysex message you send, and works out perfectly.

Here the same with the flow picks, they glide really comfortable, but wear pretty fast, and chirp on faster runs on the unwound strings. Is there anything you can do about the chirp, or is it just bad technique?

Just bought the sinmix metal pack, have to say it is awesome. The variaty is great! I always tend to end up with the same type of tones when making my own presets, this helps enourmeous!

How can i unlink global blocks? If i press unlink in the global blocks tab, the global block number remains, when saving that global block number will change trough all patches! I just lost a lot of work this way!!!

How to scroll thru searched cabs only

I think it is possible, just search, use the arrows, and press enter one time when you are on a cab that you like to try.

The nl 212, it has a very small useable range of volume. It gets flubby at higher levels. Then i decided to go full frfr, which works great for me.

Are these Axe-Fx 2 hardware limitations?

Agreed, i'm happy with my xl, but paid full price at g66. I would expect some more updates for this price, it should be part of the fun no? Also, if i knew the three was coming out, i would have wait to buy a used two. The value of the two dropped a lot since the three came out.

Are these Axe-Fx 2 hardware limitations?

I bought my xl+, just half a year before the 3 for the full price! I had many updates in mind, and many years before the next generation would come out as well. Cliff even stated that the two would not be absolete for the next few years. Its a shame fas just dropped it when they had the chance!

[SOLVED] Arduino sysex problem

You can try to use a delay using a timer with the millis() function instead of using the delay. The delay just holds the entire program for the entered time.

Ok, doesnt work out as expected. I can only get all the peset names at once. This slowes the arduino down a lot. I can get the preset names that i want, but it is way too slow. I know it is not on the axe side, because, when sniffing it goes really fast. Is there another way to call a preset...

Im building a diy midi controller with oleds. It would be very nice to have a batch request over sysex to call the preset names 6 by 6, without activating them, and without the need to store those names. It takes a lot of precious memory to store all the names.

Should not be to hard. I use a mini. Just assign a cc number, and value to a button that corresponds with the axe scenes. Should be in the manual of tha axe smowhere.

Is it ok to hang a axe fx 2 with its screen up in a rack? I'm planning to make a fake combo, to have an amp on stage look. With the controls on top of the combo, and a breakour panel next to it.

Floating Bridges?

I just used to use a little bit of masking tape with a line on the border to indicate the position. Just be sure to tune open, and 12th fret harmonic. It is not difficult.

He means a floating bridge, not a floating trem. Floating bridges hang loose under the strings like in an archtop guitar with wooden bridgesaddles.

Floating Bridges?

Shouldn't be a problem, the tension of the strings should be large enough to keep it in place. Some guitars have marking for the bridge position, or even a little peg that keeps it in place.
