Use Humbuster cables as regular instrument cables?

AX8 looses global settings including Large Display Mode

I saved my settings and played on it for nearly an hour before shutting off. I would never try to power off immediately during/after saving my settings. I would also like to add that the global footswitches also gets reset as well, in addition to global EQ and starting from bank 1.

Yes same here, i experienced this twice, and I didnt even have any expression pedal plugged in. My global EQ settings get reset and I start at preset bank 1. I am using the latest version of both AX8 Edit and the V8.02 firmware. I am getting worried because I live in Singapore ordered the AX8...

Wish Configure a switch to go directly to Preset X scene 2,3,4...

+1 Yes it can be quite a hassle if you wish to change to a particular scene of a different preset. Currently it will go to scene 1 every time you change a preset. You have to tap on the preset footswitch and scene footswitch if you wanted to change presets and go to a scene other than scene...

It is really interesting that the acoustic sound of the guitar itself can have quite a significant effect on the overall tone. I did experiment by placing the looper at the front to tweak my patches and realised that my actual playing sounds better than the looper, that is why i stopped using...

Yeap! I've just watched the "Van Halen brown sound in 10 minutes" video tutorial on youtube and picked the cab lowcut and highcut trick. It got rid of much of the unwanted frequencies )

For some reason, even when placing the looper at the front of the signal chain, the tone from the looper is ever so slightly different from actual playing. Looser, fatter mids, and with more high end shrill.

Nope, the Adam F7s are known for being bright and having lesser bass than monitors in the same range. The factory presets also sound dark through my Westone W4Rs which are pretty neutral.

With an 8 hours of further tweaking and more EQing, I can finally dial out the mud and darkness. Pretty happy now! Thank you to everyone who has responded :) With a good rhythm tone done up, now I proceed on to lead tones. Can anybody recommend a transparent OD/boost with recommended settings...

Wish Laney Amps! AOR Supergroup, GHL, TI100 & Lionheart amp patches

Laney is a rather well-known amp manufacturer, with endorsees such as the Tony Iommi & Paul Gilbert. Black Sabbath for god's sake! Why hasn't Fractal created an amp model for any Laney amps? Imo it has such an amazing signature tone with that tight but generous low end, with that high end roar...
