I tweaked with the gate a bit without having to change the settings on the amps and stuff, took a while but it's all good now and actually I don't know about the FX8, it's his live patch and he was running an Axe Fx 2 whilst in The Faceless

The Faceless' tone?

I know this post was from ages ago so sorry to bump it but I had some issues with "The Faceless Riffs" patch feeding back pretty uncontrollably, did anyone else have this problem and find a solution? I'm probably missing something really simple. What should I do?

Pickup Advice/Opinions

It might be worth checking out what pickups those bands use, I believe Obscura use Emg. I'd go on the dimarzio website and look at all of the stats on the pickups and find the flattest sounding one so you can achieve whatever just by tweaking your amps a certain way. :)
