Thanks, all. I think it was mostly me missing the new name and what the slang is. As @tripulante.db pointed out, I also wonder if it's correct that Input Trim and sometimes Overdrive Volume are on that page? Seems like if it's not a knob or switch on the outside of the amp, maybe not.

To be fair, from a software engineering perspective, you generally fix bugs and make enhancements to the devices with the largest populations and then go from there. I think it depends on what percentage of their customers are on the FM3 vs others. If they were just getting the FM9 Turbo Mark II...

I bought my set back in November and have had this happen a few times as well. Unsure if it's the MFC-101 or the Axe-Fx. Reboot clears it up, but basically the MFC-101 stays lit and just won't make any changes. I can move around presets on the Axe-Fx, but the MFC-101 won't budge. New XLR cable...

I can throw my agreement in on this. I got mine (new, mind you) almost 2 months ago and I was really surprised at how little I really tweak much. I can make new presets and tweak as much as I like, but almost all presets, while maybe not all my taste of style, sound really great to me.

By saying overkill, do you mean size-wise or volume? I'm also looking for a good solution that is low volume for the house, but something I can turn up when jamming out with folks.

Line 6 Amplifi 30 for interim speaker?

Now don't laugh (too hard)...I'm on the waitlist for an Atomic CLR Active Wedge, but in the meantime, instead of hassling with carting around heavy gear (i.e. my existing head and cab), has anyone used a Line 6 Amplifi 30 (or 75/150) as a monitor? Seems like it should work since it's powered...

What to do while I'm waiting

Yay! Congrats!! Mine comes tomorrow. :) So excited!! When you referred initially to Chris and Cooper's tutorials, I know of Cooper's, but which are Chris's? Any good?

Very awesome to hear and thanks for sharing! I've been hearing great things about that XiTone wedge and am thinking of biting for one myself instead of getting a Matrix GT1000fx and speaker cab. How's the low volume on the XiTone? If I wanted to use it at home at night, can it still deliver...

Thanks! Also good to know I've got backup around, For now, it's just for the Axe-Fx. I have a small USB Focusrite, if needed for mics.

Thank you much for your config and experience. I really wasn't sure if it was needed or not, though I figured the latency would drive me insane if I ran into it and would rather just nip it now, preemptively. Thanks for the responses, all. I'm going to wait and just plug my monitors and laptop...

I'm about to jump into the Axe-Fx and will be recording into Logic Pro X. I have a newish MacBook Pro that I'll be using and have a pair of active monitors. My question is about audio interfaces and whether it's worth getting one in front of the computer, after the Axe-Fx, if it has Thunderbolt...
