    That seems like a very convoluted solution. My understanding is the gap right now is the time it takes to clear and load the new preset. The easiest solution is allocating a buffer to preload the next preset and then switching over once it's loaded.

    Not "best", it can only work with a 3 speaker set up. In any 2 speaker set up, there's no such thing as w/d/w as each speaker contains both the dry and anything panned to that side. EDIT: Or with a 2 speaker system one could run a w/d setup.

    I prefer a much higher gain tone using mostly amp drive, but yep...simple is better. And even if using multiple amp models using a single cab creates a cohesiveness more like a channel switching amp which IMHO works much better in a live situation.
