AX8 processing latency

As far as CPU usage, this is why I use the loops. I have other effects that I prefer to the AX8 effects, anyway (G System and 4 H9s). I am primarily using the amp model and gate only in the AX8. I really only use the AX8 for the modeling... not much CPU usage when you don't use a ton of on-board...

Running 2 Ax8's into a 2-channel poweramp to feed 2 4x12 cabs

I was using a Peavey Classic 50/50 but recently switched to a Rocktron Velocity 300. :D You only need one AX8 to do this. However, you will get the cab sim through your cabinets. If you don't want the cab sim to your cabs, then you could potentially use something like the Suhr ISO on your power...

AX8 + external midi controller

I am using a Ground Control and GCX. Works flawlessly. :) Was a bit of a learning curve. I am also using a G Major 2 and a bunch of pedals in the mix.

Looking at the midi implementation in the manual, it should be possible. I haven't seen any guides or tutorials anywhere. Was hoping someone had some experience here.

For a number of reasons, I need to be able to just use the AX8 in my rack. Is it possible to control the AX8 with a Voodoo Labs Ground Control? I have read that this works for the Axe-Fx using VCA to make scene selections but am not entirely clear if I can do this on the AX8. Anyone?
