No global blocks on FM9 deal breaker for Axe III user

I can totally see this feature as being utilized more on the floor units (if it was available) for the small to medium venue people. Seems like it is a good practical use case. I wonder how often the larger venue players who use the III really need to make adjustments according to the room...

[UPDATE] Fixed, not a bug. Set the delay time the same (with tap tempo) across channels. Not sure why this preset was changed from the others with the VC. I must have messed it up along the way. Leaving this post up in case anyone else has the same brain fart… Thanks for the quick catch...

I dunno… That video seems to totally discount small club players that sometimes don’t even mic their cabs. In those cases you simply cannot say the amp in the room tone doesn’t matter. Because it’s literally all you have. Otherwise it’s a cool video tho. I like his stuff.

Pitch Block Help (Solved)

Have you tried putting the pitch block in parallel? For harmonies, I have had a little better luck in that configuration. I’ve only put in series for drop tunings (virtual capo). Worth a shot… Not in front of my unit but IIRC I think you’ll want the mix at 100% and adjust the level accordingly?

Stole this! 😜😜😜 I have a Mono case for dual electrics. Guitar goes in one side, FM9 and accessories in the other. For now anyway while I figure out the permanent setup… And as an extra bonus, the front pouch is large enough to hold a six pack!

Same here… Once the other bugs are squashed I’m anxious to install the new FW and try just for the VC. The latency was always the deal breaker for me. You could always notice it especially with quick chugs on low notes. I know you can’t totally eliminate it but can’t wait to try…

I just used my CEBA cover from my FM3. Just had to cut out a small piece out to fit over the knobs. Now it works for both the FM3 and FM9. I was more interested in protecting the big screen so this is fine for me…

Think about the physical profile of Out 1 & 2 on the FM3. Apply that that to the rest of the encoders... If people wanted to have higher knobs, they can easily add them. Other way around is a little more difficult. Anyway, enjoy! Great product! Wait, no. Awesome product! Side story...

Ohhhh… That’s a good thought! Can’t do that on the FM3 but the extra out on the FM9 easily gives the option for the matrix amp (I have the same one) and regular cab without making separate patches. Love it!

Setlist workarounds?

Fracpad @AlGrenadine I messed with it on my iPhone a while back with Yamaha wireless midi adapter. Been a while but guessing it still works.

FracPad works great and he is very responsive.
