FM3 5.03 Factory Presets

For some reason all the stock presets sound really muffled and bass-heavy for me. That's always been the case. Of course they are easily modified but for example the 6160 is impossible for me to get a good sound out of. It sounds like theres a big wall blocking the sound.

Are you using the “amp” you thought you would…ex: I started using the 5153

I used to think I'm a Mesa guy but after getting my first modeler (Axe FX II a few years back) I quickly realized I didn't really like that tone. I'm mainly using the Engl Savage amp for my high-gain tones and I really like it! With the FM3 you can make any amp sounds killer hahah :)

Cygnus Is....Absolutely Magnificent!

This is really weird because I have the same Live Gold pack and it sounds amazing! Austinbuddy has released bank 1 (first 128 presets) for Cygnus as well so you should download those. Mine sounded a bit weird before resetting the amp channels.

I can't wait to get to try Cygnus :) I just revisited my Axe FX II mk2 today and I love how it sounds. I use FM3 mainly in band practices but sometimes also at home. I still love the Axe FX II though.

Any word on the FM3 getting the Axe III's Pitch Block?

Can someone explain what the "improved pitch block" has that FM3's pitch block doesn't? It has been good enough for my use in band rehearsals but I really don't know what else there could be.

Is LOOPER control through onboard switches possible? [yes]

I think it shows the controls on the unit when you are switching between the foot control menus by holding down the foot controls and browsing to Looper

There is no uninstall option, it is a single file. I downloaded it again and ran it, no difference. Ok now I got it to work. It was somehow placed outside of my monitors. I right clicked the icon in taskbar and selected "maximize" and it appeared on the display.

I'm having a problem with this program. It used to work normally until today when I opened it and nothing showed up on the screen. I have the windows version installed. The icon shows in Taskbar but nothing happens when I click it. The window is nowhere to be seen :o

Using an Axe-Fx II XL with a Two-Notes Torpedo Live

I know this is an old post but I just came to write one reason why I have been thinking of getting the Two Notes Torpedo Live. My Axe FX II has only 80+- user cab slots but the Torpedo Live can store up to 512 user cabinets so I would use it to extend my cab library so I don't have to replace...

Pitch block for Drop C tuning

I usually add some gain when using the pitch block to drop the tuning. The "track adjust" control is good for fixing latency issues but you'll have to mess around with it for a while probably :)

Anyone find they don’t “need” drive blocks in most cases since getting the AxeII?

I do use them in some cases but I'm not using the drive pedal blocks for gain / more drive. I use them to achieve certain characteristics in the tone.
