AX8 with Mesa Boogie V

I also use my AX8 in 4CM with my 20th Shiva, and it's the best tone I've had in my 24 years of playing! I did have to play with the global eq to get it to sound EXACTLY as if I was plugging straight into my amp, but once that was set... tonal bliss!

Fx Loop Send & Return?

After talking to a mate last night, (who has owned numerous axe fx units) about how I'm able to get more effects in my signal chain, we worked out the AX8 doesn't have send/return options like the other units. Merely just an FX Loop. Any chance we could possibly get this option in an update...

What is this 'killswitch/machine gun' effect? (song included)

I've got a tremolo set up with a square wave for a 'stutter' effect mid solos. I also had a control switch set up to engage a phaser and the tremolo at the same time which could get really close to the sound you're looking for.

Anyone running the AX8 with a tube amp?

Not quite the same as just using the return, but I'm using my Shiva 20th in 4CM with my AX8. Saves precious CPU space and I get to use countless effects with the AX8 this way!

Rack loop or pedal loop 4CM?

Hey guys and girls! I'm using my AX8 in 4CM with a 20th Shiva, and I've always used the 'pedal' loop... But wondering if I should be using the rack loop instead...? Cheers from Aus!

Engaging the multi delay and separate delay. Acting like a midi controller switch would. It's not controlling any other parameters, just a simple on/off.

Anybody else finding this? I've got a control switch set up with multi delay and delay, when it's engaged and I tap tempo it, it turns off the CS1.... Is there a way around this? Cheers!

Following... I tried yesterday to get my dual expression volume/wah pedal connected, but couldn't manage to get the switch to active a 'sweep'. It's either On or Off.

Noob Question: Using real tube amp but need output to FOH

i Still want to use my bogner as a traditional amp on stage, but if the need arises where I can send a sim straight out of the AX8 to front of house, whilst still using my amp as a want, can I do it? Either through panning left and right outputs somehow? Or splitting the signal chain earlier...

I've tried everything this afternoon trying to get the AX8 hooked up using my Bogner Atma 4cm and send an Amp and Cab sim direct to front of house (with all the effects I would use with my amp etc) but no such luck... Has anybody managed to do this? Even a basic patch separating both outputs so...
