FX8 Digital high pitched whistle noise

I had the same problem even though I run Ebtech Hum Eliminator The Problem was the I/o Settings reduce output to 6.0 I had a higher setting it created the noise when set to high

I wanted to hate the AX8

I had a sound man at a large church tell me that Fractal sounded bad compared to a real amp and all the amps he mixed were in a separate sound room I made a few changes and now the sound guy can't tell the difference it is about knowing what you are doing and knowing how to get there seems like...

I would differ with your point about the clean of the AX8 I did a AB comparison with the AX8 against my Blackface Super Reverb Non Reissue I could not tell the difference and I sold my Super Reverb Settings are everything and knowing how to get Clean headroom and also you must use Good Equipment...

What Will You Do?

I don't think they would put out a II right now track records already shows the the AX8 is so good that players were are selling their ax fx II and some have sold their ax fx III to go back the to AX8 a AX8II would cut into the ax fx III market

QSC K10.2 vs Matrix FR10 vs Yamaha DXR10 vs Any 10 inch

I use a Yamaha DBR10 it is Great . when I compared my Fender Super Blackface and my Fender Blackface setting on my AX8 I could not tell the difference and I promptly sold the Fender Blackface Super reverb Stay away from anything Alto they are just junk unless you play some dark sounding music...

I did not have any problems with the Axe Edit for my recent iMac my problems was reinstalling the Factory presets .I has searched other forums and found out that other people were having the same problems loading the presets on the Standard also recently .

while shopping for a Fractal AX8 as most people do for that kind of money I do my homework Fractal has a Ax8 for $1095. and they are in stock a few sellers on Reverb have theirs for over $1400 with no extras and they want shipping I think I am in shock after looking at Reverb I was only looking...

maybe but I have read other forums where people were also having issues more along the line of software issues I could backup and reload my saved programs but I could not reinstall the factory banks I had used the same iMac computer 1 year old only difference was iMac updates about every 4 months

Chris I loaded the Firmware to 11 and then I download the Axe Standard presets from the Fractal Legacy site and I tried to send the presets using the Noise Librarian

it would seem a lot of people are having update issues trying to use the older software if Fractal could update the Software for Ultra and the Standard it seems it is having issues with the newer computer systems both windows and Mac a lot of older systems still still out here

Behringer EUROLIVE F1220A with Axe FX II

I have used that same Behringer it is better than Monitors the monitors are hard to not get a compressed clean sound from however I moved on to EV ZLX which I find to have a more clearer signal

One Month In...

I had Mackie Mr8 with my Xl the Mackies sounded to compressed I switched to EV ZLX 12 a world of difference much better I am now pleased with the Clean sounds very Natural sounding
